How to get to Carleton
Ottawa is situated part way between Toronto and Montreal at the eastern edge of Ontario . The distance from Toronto is 500 kilometres while Montreal is 200 kilometres away. Located minutes south from the centre of Ottawa , Carleton University is easily accessible by car from any direction of the city. (See regional Maps below.)
Via Highway 417 (runs east-west through the centre of the City of Ottawa )
Exit Highway 417 (also called the "Queensway") at Bronson Avenue . Follow Bronson Avenue south approximately 2 kilometres. The campus entrance will be on the right at the intersection of Bronson and Sunnyside Avenue .
Via Highway 416
Hwy 416 connects Hwy 401 (interchange near Prescott , Ontario ) to Hwy 417. Follow Hwy. 416 to Hwy. 417 (East). Follow Hwy. 417 (the "Queensway") and exit at Bronson Avenue . Follow Bronson Avenue south approximately 2 kilometres. The campus entrance will be on the right at the intersection of Bronson and Sunnyside Avenue .
Arrival by Bus
Local OCTranspo [ OCTranspo] routes #4 and #7 (both of which enter the campus) pass within a block of the Ottawa ( Voyageur) bus terminal.
OCTranspo's new Light Rail System - The OTrain
The O-Train provides service to Carleton University from the transit stations at Bayview (Lebreton Flats) and Greenboro (South Keys) with stops at Carling and Confederation Heights .

From East 401: Take McConnell Ave. exit, go south on McConnell Ave to Montreal Rd., turn right on Montreal Rd. and go 5 blocks; arena is on your left.
From West, Hwy #2: Follow Vincent Massey Drive, which turns into Brookdale Ave., around traffic circle and along International Bridge. Keep going south which turns into Water Street. Cornwall Civic Complex is on the right.
From North, Hwy 138: Go west on Cornwall Center Rd., turn left onto Brookdale Ave. and follow south past International Bridge and east onto Water Street. Cornwall Civic Complex is on the right.

Turn right on Bankfield Rd./Regional Rd. 8 and proceed east approx. 1.5 km to Prince of Wales Dr./Regional Rd. 73. Turn left on Prince of Wales Dr./Regional Rd. 8 and proceed north approx. 13 km to Hunt Club Rd./RR-32. Bear right onto Hunt Club Rd./RR-32 and proceed east approx. 4 km to Airport Pkwy./RR-79 North. Turn left onto Airport Pkwy. and proceed north approx. 2 km to Walkley Road. Turn right on Walkley Rd. and proceed east approx. 0.75 km to arena on the left.
