BLACKBERRY FESTIVAL SITE Aug 4th and 5th, 2012

The Blackberry festival will be returning this year!

 Here you will be able to download the application page for a booth, find out about the booth prices, the bylaws and check out the other festivities that we have in store for Cave Junction.

The Festival plans are in the works and coming along really great! So far we think we have a couple of bands for your musical enjoyment.
The merchants on the streets have agreed to let vendors and artisans  set up in front of their stores, we wll give a map of the locatons where  you can set up ( keep in mind that you may have to  ask if you may need the use of their electricty)
We are asking though, that if you want to set up in front of your own shop in town , that a donation on your behalf of at least half of the booth cost be given.
The Booth cost are going to be :

 12 x 12 booth area  $30.00 for one day or $50.00 for the whole weekend .

 

The Blackberry Co-ed baseball game will start at Jubilee park  at 1:00 pm.. The entry fee for this will soon be announced. So get your cleats and gloves ready!!

Blackberry Festival August 4th and 5th
As it is usually hot this time of year, please come prepared!! BOOTH INFORMATION: ALL VENDORS WILL INCORPORATE THE COLOR PURPLE IN THEIR BOOTH (balloons, streamers, etc.) Only two exhibitors may share a booth. Food booths are required to obtain their permit from the Health department of Josephine County (541) 474-5325. Booth space is assigned as your application and booth fees are received. Booth fees are non-refundable. We try to honor all special needs and requests. BOOTH FEES 12X12 SPACE, $30.00 FOR ONE DAY OR $50 FOR ENTIRE WEEKEND BOOTH SET-UP, TAKE DOWN & VENDOR PARKING The festival opens Saturday at 10am. Please be set up and ready for business at 10am each morning. The festival closes at 6pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday. NO TEAR DOWN IS ALLOWED BEFORE 4PM SUNDAY. Exhibitors are required to move their vehicles from the street after set-up/unloading. Please use off street parking designated for vendors. If a merchant complains, your vehicle could be towed at your expense. Registration & Pre Set-up: Friday-6pm to 8pm, Set-up: Saturday- 6am-9:45am, Festival opens at 10am, Sat & Sun. NO SECURITY WILL BE PROVIDED: Leaving merchandise in your both is done so at your own risk. SCREENING APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED BEFORE JULY 27, 2012 Photographs/Confirmation Letters: Please enclose ONE current photo. Identify photo with your name and address. If you wish your photo  returned and a confirmation of acceptance letter sent, please provide a self-addressed stamped envelope. Judging and Fees: Is ongoing until booth spaces are filled. Fees will be refunded to those not accepted. Otherwise booth fees are non-refundable. Incomplete applications will be returned. Please include booth fee with your application. There will be no refunds due to cancellations or inclement weather. The event will remain open to the public during the advertised hours. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to provide shade and signage for their space and for leaving the space clean and free of refuse. The festival committee reserves the right to reject any work considered objectionable to the public, including, but not limited to paraphernalia and pornography items. I/we do hereby hold harmless the Blackberry Festival Organization, the City of Cave Junction, the I.V. Little League, and festival volunteers from any and all claims for damages, personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death occurring or arising from the rental and occupation of said space by exhibitor.
