Last but not least was a slashing line drive down the right field line by JJ vs Rage . Shifting into gears she didn't know she had she found herself on 3rd base with a triple. This got us on the board against Rage when she scored on a sharp single to RF by Davison.

.  .
Mallory Paine, Lewis '08

she has already broken most school pitching records and by the time she graduates this year she will rank as one of the great pitchers in DIV II history.
Liz Watkins, Iowa
Liz Watkins slams 3 run homer in first inning vs Blues. Playing in only one tournament in 2010 Liz was spectacular and actually ended up as the Slammer's season leader in rbi's. Liz was 2nd Team All Big Ten in freshman year as the starting catcher for the Iowa Hawkeyes and will be a full time player for the 2011 Slammers.
Sydney Lisy, Illinois '07
Sydney Lisy is greeted after HR vs Lady Rage. A former Illini '07 Sydney can play multiple positions and those skills plus her all out hustle have been invaluable to the Slammer's success.

all the best as she continues her studies and softball career at Purdue.
A brilliant fielder, entering her junior year Whitney started and played every game at first base for the Cougars last season. In her freshman year she hit a lofty .371 and was named to the NCAA Division I All-Independent second team as a first baseman. Returning for her third season with the Slammers she is a very valuable left handed hitter alternating as a DH when not playing first base.
Jayme Hefler, Lewis

Leading the Flyers with a .444 avg in 2010, Jayme became the first freshman in Lewis' history to be named All American and is returning for her 2nd year with the Slammers. She led the Slammer full time players with a .410 season avg. in 2010

Jenny Esparza, Butler
.  Anchoring the 2010 Slammer staff with Torie Bunzell and Casey Clutch Creakbaum, Jenny showed why she is a top D-1 pitcher. In one game she struck out 16 of the 17 batters she faced. Against the Professional Chicago Bandits Jenny struck out 4 and did not allow an earned run in her 3 innings of work.We wish Jenny every success as she continues her pitching and academic career at Butler.
Jamie Davison Revelle, Evansville '04
Jamie Davison played with the Slammers as a part time player in 2010 finishing the season with a .395 batting average. Jamie is a 2004 graduate of the University of Evansville where she left her mark as one of the best softball players in the school's history. Casey also runs her own training facility in Anderson, IN and she and husband Eddie were blessed with their first child, Eli Clutch Creakbaum, on February 24,2011.
Jenny Jacobs, Butler '08
High fives for Jenny Jacobs after spectacular diving catch in NSA World Series. JJ is a pure power hitter who graduated from Butler in '08 as Butler's career leader in HRs. Jenny has played with the Slammers every year since 2006.
Sadie Conner, Valpo
Sadie Conner grand slam vs Rage. Sadie has anchored 3rd base for the Slammers and Valpo for the past 3 years. A gritty fielder and fine hitter, Sadie was selected first string All Horizon League in 2010.
