IMSL: Welcome

WELCOME to the INAUGERAL SEASON of 

the INDEPENDENT MIDDLE SCHOOL LEAGUE 

The IMSL is dedicated to the promotion of sports participation and opportunity for all students. The emphasis during competitions should be on sportsmanship, fair play, and the development of skills for the future.

The IMSL's steering committee, it's coaches and athletic directors believe that participation in middle school athletics is an excellent arena for students to practice and learn commitment, responsibility, teamwork and discipline. Student athletes should be taught to represent their school and community with pride and character, learn to win with humility and lose graciously, and to compete with sportsmanship and respect for others.

The IMSL Boy's Basketball, Boy's and Girl's Soccer Championships will be held at Maranatha Christian Schools, Thursday, February 25, 2010.

Boy's soccer kicks off the action at 3:15 followed by the girls on the main field.  The boy's basketball finals will be held immediatley following the soccer championships at 5:30 in the gym.

The Snack Bar will be open.  Make plans to come out and support your school!
