Avalon Nature Conservancy
Take Route 25A to Stony Brook Village. At the end of the Mill Pond, turn left onto Harbor and then second left onto Shep Jones. Surface will be a dirt road. Follow short distance to parking area on your right. Center Moriches HS LIE to exit 69. South on Wading River Road. Cross over Sunrise (27) and continue about 4/10 mi. Right onto Brookfield and proceed to first light (a little less than a mile). Right onto Frowein Rd. 1 Block to school. Park in back. Infant Jesus Convent The Infant Jesus church is at the intersection of Rte 112 and Myrtle - just out of the downtown village of Port Jeff. To get to the convent, go up Myrtle and make the first right onto Hawkins. The convent is the first building on the right. JFK Middle School JFK Middle School in the Comsewogue District
Mepham HS From Sunrise Hwy: Go North on Newbridge Road to Camp Ave and then go west (2 blocks?) From Southern State: Go South on Newbridge Road (Exit 25 or 25A) to Camp, then west. Mitchel Athletic Complex This track is used for many meets including CYO, Junior Olympic Regionals, and LITF summer series. Take the Meadowbrook Pkwy south to exit M4 (very soon after M3. Follow signs for Charles Lindbergh Blvd. Pass the Nassau Coliseum on your left and a traffic light and begin watching for entrance on your left.
Mt. Sinai Middle School District grounds are accessed from the North side of 25A, between the Post Office and WTC Tire Center.We will be using the MS gym. From 25A it is the second building. It is possible that we may have to enter the rear of the building.
Sachem HS Take Middle Country Road to Holbrook Road which is across from the shopping center with Wal-Mart and Plaza Sports. OK gas on corner. Go south on Holbrook Rd about one mile to Holbrook Ave on right. Make the right and follow around for about one half mail where it makes a sharp right and changes names to Smith Road. Follow Smith Road about one mile to HS on left. Saint Joseph's College Take Nicolls Road south to the IRS exit. Turn left onto Waverly Avenue. Cross Sunrise (27) and turn left onto the service road. The college will be on your right. You will see the athletic complex as soon as you enter the parking lot. Sign in in the lobby - the track is upstairs. Stairs are at the end of each hallway.
St. John the Baptist HS Robert Moses south to Montauk Highway and then about 1/4 mile west on the left. (Next to Good Samaritan Hospital)
Suffolk County Community College Long Island Expressway to exit 53. Go south on Wicks Road. The entrance is on your right. The track is in the big white building with slanted roof - visible from road. Registration is in the lobby.
Sunken Meadow Sunken Meadow Pkwy north to end. Cross bridge and use parking lot 1 or 3. Ward Melville HS We will meet at the athletic field end of the South parking lot. Turn at light and proceed to far end.
West Babylon Middle School Take the Southern State to exit 37 (Belmont Avenue) south. Just south of Sunrise Highway, Belmont Ave will merge with Little East Neck Road. The school will be on your right.
Westbury High School Take Northern State to Exit 32 (Post Ave) North. The school is at the intersection of Post Ave and Jericho Tpke. You may have to go east 1 block to Hitchcock Lane for the track entrance. Connetquot HS From L.I.E. exit 59, go south on Ocean Ave. After crossing tracks, you come to a "Y". Stay to the right and continue to Vets Hwy. Make a right and then first left onto Sycamore. Then first right onto 7th St. to the end. Farmingdale HS Take the L I E to exit 44 South (Rte 135). Exit at 7E and go east 3/4 mi. turn right at the train trestle onto Merritts Rd. Go 6/10 mi. to Dairy Barn and turn left onto Fallwood Pkwy. Go (5 blocks ?) to Woodward Pkwy and trun right. Follow Woodward about 1 mi. to HS at end.
Jericho HS L I E or Northern State to 106/107 North. Bear left onto 107. School is on right. Pratt Institute Take the L I E to exit 17W - the Bklyn/Queens Expressway. Stay to the right on the BQE as you approach exit 32, or you may accidentally cross the bridge. Exit at 31 and follow the service road to the first block after the fourth light. Make a left onto Hall St., go under the BQE to stop sign. Go 2 more blocks to second light (Willoughby St.) Make a left and Pratt Institute will be 1/2 block on your right. You may be able to enter the gate at the guard house, or continue to next gate to parking lot. St. Anthony's HS Northern State to Exit 41. North 2 lights and bear right. School and parking lot on left.
