YEAR-ROUND YOUTH SPORTS IN INGLEWOOD
Youth Tennis Lessons (Novice – Intermediate - Advanced)
Tennis Lessons is an on-going activity offered to youth ages 6 to 17 at Ed Vincent Jr. Park. The cost for tennis lesson is $ 12.00 per month for Inglewood-residents and $14.00 per month for non-residents. Children are taught the basic fundamentals of tennis with an emphasis on sportsmanship and etiquette. After successfully passing the Intermediate lessons and with approval from the Tennis Coordinator, children may then move on to the Inglewood Junior Tennis League. Lessons are given Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Inglewood Junior Tennis League (Advanced Youth Only)
The Inglewood Junior Tennis League is an on-going activity designed to feature competition for youth ages 8 through 18 years of age at Rogers, Darby, Ashwood, and Vincent Parks. This is a year round program that provides an atmosphere in which juniors can apply their tennis experience for extended growth. This program features advanced tennis techniques and provides instruction with emphasis on sportsmanship. Registration is on-going. The cost is $15.00 per month for Inglewood Residents and $ 20.00 per month for Non-Residents.
Amateur Youth Boxing
The Inglewood Amateur Boxing Program is a free on-going activity offered to boys and girls ages 8 to 18 years at Rogers Park. This program offers boxing training and exhibitions in three divisions, which falls under the Junior Olympic Boxer Level: Junior Division 10 years to 11 years; Intermediate Division – 12 years to 13 years; Senior Junior Olympic Division – 14 years to 15 years. Training is given Monday thru Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
SEASONAL YOUTH SPORTS IN INGLEWOOD
Youth Basketball (Season begins in January; registration opens in December)
Youth Basketball is a seasonal activity offered to boys and girls ages 5 to 14 years at Rogers and Darby Park. This program offers basketball training and exhibitions in eight divisions, which include: Pee Wee Division – 5 years; Tom Thumb Division – 6-7 years old; All American Division – 8-9 years old; Prep Division – 10 –11 years old; Boys Division – 12 - 14 years old; Girls Division I – 5-7 years old; Girls Division II – 8-11 years old; and Girls Division III 12- 14 years old. Fee: $30.00 for Inglewood residents; $34.00 for non-residents.
Youth Track & Field (Season begins in April; registration opens in March)
Track and field is a seasonal activity offered to boys and girls ages 5 to 14. This program offers an atmosphere in which children can gain track and field experience. The program provides instruction with an emphasis on sportsmanship and etiquette. Fee: $20.00.
Youth Baseball/Softball (Season begins June; registration opens in May)
The Inglewood Baseball/Softball program is a seasonal activity offered to boys and girls ages 5 to 14. This recreational program offers baseball/softball training and exhibitions. Registration fee: $30.00 for Inglewood residents; $34.00 for non-residents.
Youth Flag Football (Seasons begins in October; registration opens in September)
Flag Football is a seasonal activity offered to boys and girls ages 5 to 13. This program offers football training and exhibitions in four divisions, which include: Tom Thumb Division – ages 5-7; All American Division – ages 8-9; Prep Division – ages 10-11; and Boys Division – ages 12-13. Registration fee: $30.00 for Inglewood residents; $34.00 for non-residents.

Twice a year, Waste Management will haul away your bulky items from your curbside, free of charge. Acceptable items include furniture, appliances and trash. Non-acceptable items include any hazardous material and any item that would take more than two workers to handle.
