From the entire Hudson Valley Little League, we would like to wish everyone a safe Memorial Day weekend. Taking a break from the grind of baseball is a good thing.
But, please remember that this weekend is not just about BBQ's and going to the pool, it's about reflection and remembrance.
Enjoy the time off and we will be back in the swing of things on Tuesday, May 29th at 6pm.
Thank you!

The results are in and it's the league's pleasure to announce that in our second Coin Drive, we were able to raise $1,056. Thank you to every volunteer who helped out at WalMart on May 20th and a big thanks to Wendy Mattick for organizing such a successful event.

Thank you to everybody who was able to make it to Five Guys Burgers and Fries last night at Bethlehem Town Center. The place was hopping and we hope that the turnout was good the enitre night. We will find out the donation amount in a few weeks time when they will send a check.
We are looking to hold another dinner fundraiser in a few weeks time. We are looking at possibly going to Chili's for this next one. We will send some details when we get them. Again, thanks!
**UPDATE** Come to find out, we brought in over $1,200 in sales to the restaurant netting HVLL $245.14! Thank you!

Hello!
In our series of fundraising dinners, we will be holding another one at the Chili's in Glenmont on June 3rd from 2pm to 5pm. An email has already been sent with the coupon that will be needed to be credited with attendance.
For anyone who brings their coupon and dines in or takes out food, Chili's will donate 10% of all food and drink purchases to HVLL.
If you need a coupon or cannot open the attachment from the email that was sent, please let me know by emailing at eric.r.schorr@gmail.com.
If you have specific questions about the dinner, please contact Wendy Mattick: 956-4711 or mattickw@yahoo.com.
Thanks!

HVLL Families!
As many of you have seen, we have a couple of piles of material at the park that seem to attract children of all ages to play on.
One of those piles is clay for the Minor and Pony fields. As of 5/1/2012, we had some special volunteers spread the clay out to make the fields a bit better. The clay and the labor force to put it down was supplied by Cargill from the Port of Albany
We hope you enjoy!
Thanks to Dave Pistritto and Dan Barry for providing photos!

A big thanks to all who endured sunny skies and a blustery wind to see the players and coaches march in the HVLL Opening Day! We hope you enjoyed it!

On Saturday, April 7th, parents, players and coaches came to the fields at Mosher Park and made some memorable changes to the two fields that really needed some TLC. Both the Minor Division and Pony Division fields received new sod for the 2012 season. With pain-staking measurements and lots of manual labor, the new sod is going to look great and we hope that all the players and parents will enjoy playing on the new grass. We hope that the community will take great pride in the work that was accomplished this weekend.
A very BIG thank you to all who came out to help! We could not succeed with out the support of our families!
