Welcome to Joe Curl’s Lady Cougar Summer Basketball Camp

Welcome to another exciting summer with the University of Houston Women’s basketball program and head coach Joe Curl. Our focus is to provide an exciting experience that will compliment our enthusiasm for the game, as well as teaching it. We will provide two camps. Consisting of one shooting camp, that will be an overnight camp. We also will be having a fundamental day camp. Both camp sessions are held in the state of the art Athletics Center featuring our sports memorabilia exhibit and in Hofheinz Pavilion, where the men’s and women’s basketball teams host their home games.

The daily schedule has been designed with intensive shooting drills and teaching the basic fundamentals. Our staff includes a wide range of AAU, High School and Junior college coaches from around the nation that will stress the basic fundamentals such as shooting, passing, and moving without the ball. During the games, contests, and individual instruction, and guest speakers, along with current team members and more, we make every effort to hold the best camp in the nation and pride ourselves in the ability to do so.
