Holts varsity wrestling team finished the 2009 season as State Runner-ups after a valiant effort came up just 1 point shy of pulling off the upset of this years State Champions Rockford. Great job all season long and thanks to all of the Holt wrestling fans that came out in support of our team.
Holt will have 8 wrestlers competeing this weekend (3/12- 3/14) at the Palace of Auburn Hills for the Individual Championships.

Holt won the 2009 Mooney Classic finishing the day with 3 champions 3 runner ups and 3 third place finishers, nice day considering Holt only entered 12 wrestlers.

Holt Varsity Wrestling team has ended the year 2008 on a nice note, Undefeated in duals for 2008. The beginning of the 2008 - 2009 season has started out the same as last year beating Rochester, Anchor bay, Lapeer West, Ferndale and Utica HF in the Rochester duals on 12/13/08 and then Beating Jackson 69-9, and St. Johns 48-17 on 12/17/08.
Holt then went down to N Canton Ohio and finished Runner Up in the North Canton Holiday Tournement losing to University School by 1/2 point.
Good Luck to the Rams in 2009.
