The Mission of the Recreation Commission of Hollis is to deliver services to the community in the most fiscally responsible and innovative manner while endeavoring to broaden our sense of community and preserve the unique character of our town without regards to age, sex, race or ability.
Policies & Procedures
·Only a parent or guardian may register their child for any Recreation Activity ·Non-Hollis/Brookline Residents may register for our programs after residents have the chance to register.
·All Checks submitted to the Recreation Department must be made out to the “Town of Hollis.” ·CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
·The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel/change any program due to insufficient registration or support.
·Registrations are done on a first come first served basis.

Resource Usage
Due to increasing demands upon the town’s recreational resources, the Recreation Commission of Hollis has established guidelines to assist the director in assigning available athletic space. The intent of these guidelines is to ensure programs that serve the highest percentage of Hollis/Brookline residents and comply with the Recreation Commission philosophy are provided adequate space to satisfy their needs:. The Recreation Committee has established a ranking order for the director to use when establishing priority for field assignment.
1.Hollis Recreation Programs
2.Season appropriate sport a. Spring; Baseball, Softball,Lacrosse, & Tennis b. Summer; Open for community programs c. Winter; Basketball, Volley Ball d. Fall; Soccer.
3.Affiliated programs which demonstrate 80% or more of it participants are Hollis/Brookline residents
4.Programs that service and provide opportunity for the greatest number of Hollis/Brookline residents to participate. Priority will be assigned to the programs on a percentage basis.
5.All non HRC groups or programs utilizing resources in Hollis must be issued a permit from the Hollis Recreation Commission.
6.A $10.00 user fee will be assessed to all non Hollis / Brookline Residents of teams that are not Hollis Recreation Programs
