Welcome to the internet home of the 2009 Hockey Plus/Loreman's Padres
Welcome fans to a new season of Padres baseball! The Hockey Plus/Loreman's Padres will have a new look in 2009, with several new additions. The Padres have merged with one of the CVBL's perennial power houses, the CR Tunes Mudhens. The team will remain under the Padres name but sport players from both programs. Newcomers from the Mudhens include SS/P Matt Rivers, MI Pat Hoey, OF Jason Kaplan, 3B Donny Coolidge. Other new Padres include, former Loremans Royals slugger Chris Markwica, former Lyon Mountain Ace Joey Painter, former Northeastern Clinton standout outfielder Corey Trombley, and former CVAC MVP Mark Eggleston. Hockey Plus Padres Spaghetti Dinner
The Hockey Plus Padres will be hosting their annual Spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Saturday May 16th, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the American Legion in Redford. Adult meals will be $7, Children $5, and kid's 10 and under will be free. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased from any Hockey Plus team member. Ticket prices will be 1 for $1, 5 for $3, 10 for $5, and an arms length for $10 (might want to find John for that one). All players will be asked to arrive at 10:30 a.m. for assistance with setup, serving and clean-up. We thank you as always for your continued Padres support! Sunday, April 5
