When you e-mail me (please do!!!, ScottA@alumni.virginia.edu), you will have joined over 200 Hinsdale Central Cross Country alumni who are in e-mail contact. The mailing list exceeds 500 good addresses.
I often get questions about other cross country alumni and that's great!
I also want to safeguard your personal information so I only share e-mail addresses, and only if:
- your info is already published in the (publicly available) Hinsdale Central Alumni book, or
- your info is not in the alumni book but you explicitly tell me it's OK to share it, and
- in either case you must be "classmates" of the other person, within +/- three years of graduation (e.g., someone from the class of 1980 would know people who graduated from 1977 to 1983, plus coaches)
BEST CASE: You register with the Hinsdale Central High School Foundation at www.hchsfoundation.org
Just click on "alumni" on the left-hand side of the home page, and it will guide you through the process. Advantages:
- it's free
- you can contact non-cross-country alumni that way
- the Foundation web site maintains a list of alumni events that will keep you current
So I encourage everyone to register at www.hchsfoundation.org but also look forward to helping you keep in touch with old friends, especially at the cross country reunions!
