My Site News: Oldest Tower Trotter

Oldest Tower Trotter
Ray Truedson, father of John and Conrad ('72), Tom ('74) and Tina ('76) was the oldest competitor in the Western Springs Tower Trot 5K. He finished his first marathon last year at the Joe Newton Race in Elmhurst, where he won 3rd in his age division. He walks about 3 miles a day, despite only having started walking/running 10 years ago and having knee replacement surgery 8 years ago. Don't tell anyone, but he was born in 1910. Now, where are those alumni who say they can't run any more (Roger?)!
