Team Manager Responsibilities
As some of you are aware, we have been working on putting a document together. This document is a list of tasks that need to be completed by each team during the season. We have labeled this document "Team Manager Responsibilities", however it does not mean you as the manager have to do each of these items. You should work with your coach to determine what works best for you both. We have had input from past managers as well as the executive board and feel that this is the most comprehensive list to date. We hope that the new managers in the club will find it helpful in getting through this season and that it will be nice a reference for past managers. All that you do is so much appreciated by the board, your coach and your team! Thank you!

Hilton-Parma Soccer Club Scholarship Winners
Congratulations! The following athletes have won the 2007 Hilton-Parma Soccer Club scholarship. The scholarship winners are chosen based on several criteria - academics, attitude, and integrity and must have played for the "Heat" for the last three years. HPSC would like to thank you for your commitment to "The Heat" and the game of soccer. We hope that not only will you remember the good times playing for the Heat, but that you will share your enthusiasm for the “game” with others.

Doug Miller Soccer Academy
Doug Miller and his staff are taking training to the next level. We
are now offering year-round training focusing on the technical side of
soccer.
The training starts with learning the fundamentals of dribbling,
passing, shooting, trapping and heading. This 30-week program will touch on
specifics for each technique and we will also incorporate speed and
agility training.
The Academy will run from mid-September through May and will be held at
Total Sports Experience (TSE), the best indoor sports training facility
in Rochester. The program will consist of one-hour, once-a-week
sessions. Customized session packages are also available to meet the unique
needs of your teams.
The cost is $550 per member and includes the following:
• 30 professional one-hour sessions
• DMS Academy Jacket ($32 value)
• DMS Academy Uniform ($30 value)
• DMS Shoe Bag ($10 value)
• Dartfish Analysis ($150 value)
• Strength, agility and core training
• Certification Program
• Each member's complete bio, achievements and certifications online at
dougmillersoccer.com
• DMS Membership for one year
What differentiates our training program from the rest is our use of
Dartfish video analysis to break down difficult skills into teachable
components and the Certification Program which provides proof of each
student's achievement level.
Memberships slots are filling quickly. To sign up, go to
dougmillersoccer.com or call 227-2020. Call or e-mail Doug to receive an
informational DVD on the Doug Miller Soccer Academy.
