Hurricanes 10U Capture Parkway Invitational League Title - Congratulations !!!
The 2009 Hillsborough Hurricanes 10U team took 1st Place in the Parkway Invitational Softball League "A" division.
This is a competitive fastpitch league spanning 4 counties in central New Jersey.
The girls finished the season with an 8-2 record to place them in the championship game against Colonia Navy.
July 30th, they hit the field for what turned out to be a pitcher's duel.
Pitcher Katie Gademsky threw 19 stikeouts, with the game going to an international tie breaker.
Meghan Campbell drove in Sam Desiderio with the game winning run to win the championship: 1-0
