Please review the information below before registering.
Regular registration occurs Nov 15 through Jan 16th. Registrations received after Jan 16th will be subject to a $30 late fee.
We offer two methods of registering: Online or Walk-in.
Online is the most conveinent for you and the league. It saves processing time and errors. There is a link on the homepage. There is no additional fee for online registration at this time.
Consult the Calendar for times and locations of walk in registrations. Registration forms are found at the bottom of this page and under the Forms and Flyers tab to the left.
Returning players not using the online system need to fill out all the forms.
Volunteer
Little League presents a great opportunity for parents to spend quality time with their children. Strong parental support encourages a player to do their best both on and off the field. Participation in any role can be both rewarding and fun. Volunteer selections can be made on the Registration form or from a list available in the online application. A member of the board will contact you. Please consider it. Your child's experience and the league's success depends on it.
Residence Requirements
Players must live within HLL's territorial boundaries in order to fully participate in our league. Please consult the League Boundary tab that contains a map before you register with HLL. This is very important!!
If you live outside our boundaries, you may still be able to play in HLL, so long as you do not live in another little league's territory. However, you will not be eligible to play in post-season All-Star tournaments.
Fees, Payment Methods and Refunds
The online registration system supports payment either by credit card (MasterCard / Visa/ Amex) only. There is no additional fee for online registration at this time. Walk-up registrations must be paid by check or cash only.
Registrations may be cancelled until Jan 30th for a refund minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after Jan 30th.
Tryout Policy and Date
Tryouts are required for all players 8-14 years of age, even returning Majors players. You will be assigned to the appropriate division based on your tryout results. Information about each division is available under the Divisions Tab. Tryouts examine your skills in ball safety, fielding, running and hitting. A Tryout practice will be held in addition to the formal Tryout. Please check HLL News for more details once registered.
Division Information and Team Assignment Policy
Information about each division is available under the Divisions Tab.
HLL believes that making new friends is an important part of youth sports. For T-ball and Farms divisions, players will be assigned to create balanced teams. Requests for coaches or team mates can be made under comments and we will make every effort to accommodate but no guarantee. For the Minor's division, players are drafted by the manager. The Major's division has a draft as well unless you are a returning Major's player who continue on that team until 12 yo. An exception will be made for siblings playing in the same division and for children of team managers / coaches who wish to draft their children.
Feel free to contact us via email or phone with questions.
