High Desert Little League 2008 games are underway! Our next Board & member meeting is June 2nd, at 7:00pm at the meeting room at the Bowling Alley Fun Center. We need to figure out a way to get a backstop to the multi use field (soccer field) for another T-Ball field. 

*****Last season the City had mentioned it could find land for us, but we would have to put in and care for more fields ourselves. 

        The coordinators are T-Ball coordinator - Penny Sloan 575-9708, Farm coordinator - Jennifer Nelson 575-4807, Minor & Major Coordinator - Cherie Pinkham 835-8010.

    Winners of the Pitch, Hit & Run advance to the next competition to be held May 18th @ 1:30pm at the Reno Ntl. Little League Facility on 901 Keele Dr. For directions or questions call Gary Smith at 775-813-5775. Participants must bring copy of their birth certificate.   

    League Picnic will be held May 31st at the gazebo area at Out of Town Park, from 11:00am to 2:00pm. There will be no games during the picnic so all may participate, but there will be some games that day. The league will provide hamburgers & hot dogs, condiments, paper goods. T-Ball parents are asked to bring drinks, ice & ice chests, Farm - bring salads, side dishes, beans, etc., Minors - bring chips, dips, cracker cheese & meat trays, Majors - desserts or goodies.    We will be hosting 9-10 yr old All Stars this year. Beginning date June 28th thru July 5th. Any and all help during this week would be appreciated.

We have already started gathering sponsors.
