2009 Tounament Teams
Due to the constant rainy and wet conditions and the fact the first game is on 6/29, we have elected to select the teams as a group. This group included coaches and board members including the VP of baseball (Ron Sherman), the VP of Softball (Aaron Oakes), the player agent (Adam Leach), the safety office (Donny Elston) as well as myself (Tim McCluskey). We consulted with coaches and reviewed the players stats by going over each scorebook. We tried to be as fair as possible and given the time constraints setforth by Little League International to have rosters submited before 6/24/09. We agreed this was the only way to arrive at rosters. There will be precious few days available to practice with these players before their first games next week, some of whom will be playing positions they have not played before. While we realize there will be concerns regarding the selection process, it was critical to move forward with so little time available.
