The Heartbreakers Girls Fastpitch Softball Organization, which was established in 1993, was the first organization in Frederick county to provide girls of all ages with the opportunity to compete at the highest levels of fastpitch softball. Since that time, it has become a widely recognized and respected program throughout the area with Heartbreakers teams continually earning berths to National Competitions, in 2008 there will be over 90 girls on eight different teams continuing the tradition.
