PROCEEDS FROM TOURNAMENT USED TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL TABLE & SUPPLIES
ADDITIONAL TABLE!!!
The proceeds from the Heart Of Florida Open Table Tennis Tournament-2005 was used to upgrade the table tennis equipment for the Haines City, Florida facility. Enough funds were generated from the tournament to purchase an additional Stiga table. The Lakeland Table Tennis Club assisted with the previous tournament in 2005 by providing an extra table for the tournament. In addition to the table, new magnetic signs and new Nittaku 3-Star Premium Balls were purchased for the tournament.
The new equipment is beneficial to the facility, since the site is also used for the Polk County Senior Games Table Tennis Tournament each year. Mr. Jason Hargrove, Athletic Supervisor for the Haines City Parks and Recreation, is in charge of the facilty during the tournaments.
In additon, any donations for the purchase of new table tennis equipment will also be greatly appreciated. Any interested donors may contact Ray Spann at (863)965-0760 or via e-mail at RaySpann@verizon.net
