Ontario Blue Jays 3 LI Titans 16u Gold 2
Jordan Boston and Matt Wick combined on the hill for the Champion Blue Jays holding the Titans to 2 runs on 5 hits. Tyler Hibbert contributed 2 hits as did tournament MVP Jose Toralba including a key late game triple. Ryan Sloane and Tom Tolan drove in the Titan runs while Ken Jackson had 2 hits. Matt Malone held the Blue Jays to 5 hits over 4 2/3 innings for the Titans.
Semi Finals
Game # 1 - Ontario Blue Jays 6 v Whales 2
Rob Good stuck out 5 Whales without issuing a walk. Jordan Boston's 3 run HR was the key blow while Jose Toralba, Scott Wilcox and Tyler Hibbert each had 2 hits for the Jays. Mike Perrone, Brian Sunberg and John Coyne each had 2 hits for the Whales whose 7th inning rally ended on a line drive double play.
Game # 2 - Titans 6 v Team CT Blue Jays 5
Ed Macaluso struck out 5 and Bryan Verbitsky got the save in an exciting extra inning game. Tom Tolan lead the Titans with 3 hits including the game winning triple which scored Chris Bifulco with 2 outs in the 8th inning. Richard Doyle had 3 hits for the Titans. Jon Minucci, Nick Campero and Matt Flynn's RBI double in the 6th lead Connecticut.
