2009
The Hawks will field a single team in 2009 coached by Founder Alan Dern. The team will be playing together for the 7th year and will compete in Long Island Connie Mack and various tournaments.
2008
Hawks Baseball completed its fifth year of league and tournament play in 2007. Alan Dern started the Valley Stream Hawks organization in the fall of 2002. Winter workouts began at Island Garden in January 2003 and the first teams took the field later that spring. Teams run by co-founders Alan Dern and Rich Trabulsi have won tournaments run by Baseball Heaven, Triple Crown and Long Island Connie Mack. Tom Pfingst and Mike Giugliano guided younger Hawks teams to success in 2006 and 2007.
