JAKE NELSON LEAD THE HAWKS WITH 12 REBOUNDS AND 7 POINTS WHILE ALSO PLAYING SOME GREAT DEFENSE IN THE WIN.

Gabe Nichols finished with 14 points and the first dunk that a Hopkinton player has had in a game in almost 10 years.

Liam McNicholas scored a team high 16 points grabbed 5 rebounds and handed out 3 assist to help the Hawks hang .close to Concord before falling in the 4th quarter 53-46.  McNicholas hit his first 3 threes to help the Hawks get out to an early lead.

Steve Auger scored 15 points and handed out 3 assist

GABE NICHOLS Scored a game high 16 points grabbed 8 rebounds and snagged 2 steals.

Steve Auger continues to play well for the Hawks scoring 18 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

STEVE AUGER: The senior scored a game high 16 points and also filled up the stat sheet with 11 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists.

David Brandt played some inspired basketball leading the Hawks back from a 13 point deficit in the first quarter.  David scored 17 points (8-10 from the line) 8 assist, 10 steals and 7 rebounds.

Honorable Mention:

David Wood scored 13 points and 8 rebounds plus held Belmonts top player to 2 points.      Will Hatch, Steve Bower and Dan Forrester all played will in the win.

David Wood scored 12 points on 5-8 shooting, grabbed 11 rebounds 4 assist and 4 steals add 2 blocks in and a pretty good all around game.

Jake Nichols continues to play well for the Hawks scoring 16 points grabbing 3 rebounds and helping put away Newport with 7  4 quarter points including 4-4 from the line.

Matt Story and Steve Bower share the honor of being named players

of the game vs Newport.  Matt scored 6 points grabbed 7 rebounds and

had a steal.  Steve scored 6 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assist and 3 steals while

also shooting 4-5 from the line in crunch time.

Senior guard David Brandt had another great night at Hillsboro filling

up the stat sheet.  Brandt scored 22 points, 9 rebounds, 9 steals and 6

assists.  He also shot 50% from the floor going 10-20.
