Haverford Heat Advance to Semi-Final in Pennsylvania State Cup!
Haverford won its Quarter-Final game (after advancing to the playoffs) against Red Land Thunder 6 - 3 (who was runner up in the premier division at the Hempfield fall classic). The Heat lost a very close semi-final game to Lower Dauphin 2 - 1. The Coaches were very happy with the way everyone played. All of the girls played hard the entire day and supported each other when they were not on the field.
The Heat completed the PAGS fall season with a record of 4-2-3 and the only 2 loses were in the 2nd week of the season.
In summary, our outdoor record in the fall was 7-4-5 (W-L-T) all games. Our indoor record, with all of the tournament mini-games is 16-6-2. Combined, the girls have played forty contests, won 23 and tied 7. The three teams that beat us in the fall - Boyertown (2), Westmont Cheetahs, York Premier - we have beaten two the indoor season.
