Hanover Township Little League: Welcome
Hanover Township Little League is a non-profit organization whose mission is to "to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of the youth of Cedar Knolls and Whippany, New Jersey that participate in Little League Baseball and Softball."
Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the Little League program assists the youth of Hanover Township in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. By espousing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the Hanover Township Little League Baseball and Softball program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.

Monday, July 27
Par-Troy West defeated the Hanover 9/10 Softball All-Stars by a 15-2 score on Monday night setting up a winner-take-all Tuesday contest for the District 1 Championship. The championship game will be played at 6PM on 7/28 at Morristown's Veteran's Field.
Make the short trip to Morristown and support the girls in their quest for a District 1 championship. Go Hanover!

The Hanover 8U Softball team won it's semifinal game against West Essex and will be playing in the finals at Gardner field in Denville on Tuesday July 28 at 6pm. Please come out and support the team.
Tuesday, July 28
Hanover's Black Brook Park is the setting for Tuesday's championship game for this year's Hanover 10U Tournament. The championship features Par-Troy East against Tri-Town. Come by Black Brook and catch some of the action.
Tuesday, July 21
All games are now an elimination game for the Hanover 9/10 Baseball All-Stars in District 1 play. Next up for the boys, a contest against the Randolph West 9/10 All-Stars at Randolph's Heinstein Park. Game time is 6PM on Wednesday, 7/22. Make the trip to Randolph and support this resilient bunch in its District 1 quest.
Note: This game was originally scheduled for 7/21 but has been rescheduled to 7/22 due to rain.
Friday, July 17
HTLL came up short in the Little League and Juniors District 1 Championships on Thursday.
The Junior All-Stars (14u) lost 11-8 to Madison while the Little League All-Stars fell 7-4 to Tri-Town. It's disappointing this morning for the guys, but both teams should be commended for their Summer runs and for making Hanover proud.

Congratulations to the HTLL Spring baseball champions:
Minors - Ferullo Contracting Rockies came from behind in the bottom of the 6th to nip the CA Winkler Astros by a 3-2 score.
Majors - 5 Guys Burgers & Fries Yankees defeated the Jersey Mike's Subs Cardinals by a score of 8-0.
Juniors - Halibej Realty posted 4 runs in the 7th inning to tie Danny's Angels and proceeded to win 7-6 in 9 innings.
HTLL says a special thanks to everyone who participated in our Spring season. Thanks to the players, parents, managers / coaches, umpires, the Rec. Dept. for preparing the fields, snack bar volunteers and anyone else who volunteered to make the Spring season enjoyable for the kids of Hanover Township.
