Dear Hampton Families,

Our tryout nights are later this season to acomodate amateur tryouts that are usually held in April. Our dates are as follows:

5/7 5:30-6:40 PM--Developmental Session

6:50-8:00 PM--Freshman/JV Tryouts

8:10-9:20 PM--Varsity Tryouts

5/9 8:40-9:40 PM Freshman/JV Tryouts

9:50-11:00 PM Varsity Tryouts

This season, 9th grade students will no longer be permitted to play on the Freshman squad. Players in 9th grade or above are permitted to skate in both the Freshman/Jv session and the Varsity session the first night. The coaches will alert any JV players that they want to report for the second night.

For Freshman, JV, and Varsity, please arrive at least 45 minutes ahead of the start time so that a registration form can be completed. Please remember to bring a light and a dark practice jersey. We will collect a $275 deposit as part of your registration. If you are not placed on a team, your deposit will be returned. Senior players are required to make an additional deposit of $250, which will be held until the end of the season in order to offset any fines that may be assessed if a player were given a suspension that he/she is unable fullfill. The added deposit will be returned at the end of the season if fines are not assessed. The fee for the developmental session is $10. We use this session to determine how many players we can expect to field next season. Registration for the devo team will be sometime in late June.
