Hamilton Mens Fastball League: Welcome
The RailRoaders came out strong hitting 4 home runs 2 by Mike Berman and 2 by Bo Bottenfield on way to a 10 - 3 mercy of the defending league finalist Raiders only to get crushed in the final by defending league champs the Troy Braves. Shawn James shut down the RailRoaders Bats with a 4 hit shut out with the remainder of the team collecting 9 hits on way to a 7 - 0 mercy in 6 innings. It was a rain soaked season in Hamilton but the league ran as well as could be expected with the league ending tournament a success as far as most players were concerned. At the tournament it was great to meet and get to know most of the players we have played against for a few years but never really had a chance to sit and have a few cold Cola's with. As I believe it was Dave Birnie has said "GREAT GAME GREAT GUY'S". Special thanks to Mark from the Blunts for being the only team rep to phone in all his game scores in. Hope every-one has a great off season and hope to see every-one along with some new faces at next springs league meeting. If anyone has any constructive suggestions as to ways of improving OUR league don't be shy!
My Thanks again Dana (RaiRoaders) 905 578 3707
