Jim “The Scientist” Gomperts had a huge season as the centerfielder and leadoff hitter in 2007. Not only did he bat a hefty .425 with an on base percentage just shy of .500, but his sometimes befuddling play in the outfield has greatly improved. When asked how he spent the off season, the reigning Testony award winner stated that he was doing missionary work in Kooka Munga. After that it was explained to him that no such place existed, wearing his trademark look of confusion he abruptly ended the interview.
