In 2007, after a two year hiatus, Ryan “Ticking Clock” Mazurkivich came off the bench for the Hackers as their primary left handed pinch hitter and defensive guru at first base. Shaking off the rust, Mazurkivich batted a respectable .296. Rumors circulated as to exactly what prompted Ryan's disappearance, and just-as-sudden reappearance. When asked in a recent interview about his sabbatical he simply stated, “Sometimes you just gotta dance.,” refusing to elaborate any further.
