Please volunteer!
Uncle Sam volunteer icon
Hudson Youth Baseball/Softball would not be able to exist without the efforts of its many volunteers. From coaches, to concession stand workers, to Board members - these volunteers have put in a lot of effort to make the successful program that we offer today. At this point, we are in desperate need of replacing "retiring" volunteers whose children have moved on and are no longer in the league. We would like you to consider taking an "official" role in our HYBS league for the 2004 season. There are a number of positions open but we are currently looking at filling two critical positions as soon as possible. We are looking for a league secretary and a girls instructional league director. Either of these positions can be filled with either a man or a woman so don't assume that you are not qualified! (Please share this message with your spouse, neighbors or friends.) You also do not need to know a much about baseball or softball!

The league secretary is responsible for taking meeting minutes, maintaining league rosters, distributing flyers, maintaining league rules and coordinating the schedule for picture day. (More details can be provided.)

The girls instructional league director is responsible for selecting coaches, making up instructional teams, scheduling games/practices for league, setting rules (with approval of board), distributing/ collecting equipment to/from coaches, and ensuring league runs smoothly. Please note that the rules and other templates have already been put together and can be re-used. (More details can
be provided).

If you can volunteer to help us in any capacity, we would be most appreciative.

Thanks for your support!
