HYAA Player Lessons
 2009 HYAA Player Lessons Application

HYAA is pleased to offer group baseball lessons to its players, enabling them to work on their game and to see positive results. Players between the age of 8 and 12 years old who were on a HYAA team roster in either the Spring or Fall season are eligible to participate.

Lessons are available to players of all skill levels, and can be tailored to any aspect of the game as arranged with the instructor. This program is for serious players who seek quality instruction and have the desire to maximize their ability.

A $25 registration fee is required to enroll in the program (payable to HYAA). Each subsequent 1 hour session is $25 per session payable to the instructor.

Sessions are for groups of 5 or fewer players. You can form your own group, or be assigned in the open pool of applicants.

The instructor for the 2009 off-season player lessons will be Josh Horton, former HYAA player and currently playing for the Oakland A's franchise.

A re-cap of requirements are listed below:

  1. Player must be between 8 and 12 years of age, and be a rostered HYAA player in either the spring or fall season.
  2. Player must register by completing the Player Lessons Application form and returning it and a check for $25 (payable to HYAA) to Keith Chnupa - exchange@hyaabaseball.org
  3. Groups of 4-5 registered players that want to learn together can form or be assigned.
  4. Once registered, you will be contacted by Keith Chnupa or the instructor for your respective appointment. Sessions are 1 hour in duration.

This is a first come first serve situation. Although it is open to all HYAA players, there are a limited number of slots.

For any questions, concerns or comments please contact Keith Chnupa.
