Hillsborough Youth Athletic Association - HYAA: Age Scale
HYAA Age Scale (updated for Fall '09 and Spring 2010)
In the Summer of 2006, the HYAA Board of Directors made a decision to slightly alter the Age Scale used to determine the player's division. Instead of using August 1st as the cut-off date, the league will now use April 30th as the qualifying date.
The change brings HYAA into line with our current Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth league affiliation and with some of the other youth baseball organizations (such as Dixie Youth Baseball).
You will find charts below that can be used to determine your child's playing age.
Note: The Pre T-Ball and Junior League programs are Spring only.
