Royals setup for faceoff
The West Island Royals started slow Tuesday before storming back to a 6-4 victory over the Vaudreuil Gladiateurs.  By the 7:20 mark of the first period Vaudreuil had scored 3 goals and the Royals were still searching for their legs. The comeback started three minutes later as the Royalks closed the gap to 3-2 to end tyhe first enroute to six unanswered goals. Hard backchecking and relentless pursuit brought the Royals back.  Chris Vlahos, Andrew Nolan, David Montgomery and Ireland Kronlov each had one goal and one assist. Andrew Racine and Philipe Bourassa tallied the other markers with Justin Villeneuve and Mike Kelly adding an assist each. Nicholas Joron settled down after a slow start and a short break on the bench, coming back in the nets for the second and third periods to close the door on anyVaudreuil hopes to get back in the game.
