The West Island Royals defeated the Requins Deux Rives 2-0 Tuesday.  The Royals were casual in the win which almost cost them but solid goaltending turned back any Requins attempt to get in the game.  Nicholas Joron made a fantastic glove save in the first to keep the door shut before leaving the game battling the after effects of the flu.  Daniel Curl stepped in to anchor the remaining two periods.  Kristopher Shelton and Chris Vlahos each had a goal with Ryan Ziadie and Justin Villenueve assisting. The Royals out shot Deux Rives 34-20.
