Boys HSC Clash: Welcome

Welcome to the home site of the Hockessin Soccer Club Boys U18 Clash   

Team history: 2003, 2004 and 2008 State Champions; 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2009 Finalist.

The Clash is made up of committed soccer players that represent various catholic, private, and public high schools from Delaware and Southern Penna. 

The Clash is affliated with both US Club and USYS and competes at the highest level in both league and tournament play.  After the 2009 fall high school season, the U18 Clash will participate in the Thanksgiving College Showcase, Zarepath, NJ and PA Classics College Showcase, Lancaster, PA.  Spring tournaments will include Jefferson Cup 2009, Richmond, VA, March Madness, Baltimore, MD and the MSSL Memorial Day Explosion/Ft. Dix, NJ; league play in both Region 1 and MAPS.

The Clash is coached by Dean Temple, who holds a USSF A License and has over 14 years of travel team and ODP coaching experience.  Coach Temple's Roma travel team was 8 time DE State Champions and Region 1 semifinalst in 2002 and continues today as the U23 Hockessin Roma in the MPL League under USASA; players currently compete in collegiate programs at George Washington, Loyola, Penn, William & Mary, Richmond, U of Del, York College of PA, Stevens Tech, Lynchburg, LaSalle and West Chester, to name a few. The Clash also has current collegiate players Erik Temple from YCP and DJ Buckley from W&M who volunteer their time to assist Coach Temple.
