2005 Mosquito Provincial A's
In 2005, HPBA entered a part-time "A" level team in several tournaments. Consisting of players from our house league teams brought together to gain experience in competitive ball , the boys improved consistently throughout the summer, culminating in a thrilling Provincial qualification game against a AAA rival where the A's kept it even throughout the game before being narrowly defeated in the final inning.

2005 Mosquito A's Regional Champs
The 2005 Mosquito Rec A's won the St. Margaret's Bay regional title after going 5 - 0 in the playoffs and becoming the first team from Hammonds Plains to win the trophy since its inception in 1995

Gold - Woodside
2005 Mosquito A's - Gold at Woodside Invitational
As the first team from Hammonds Plains ever invited to the Woodside Tournament, the 2005 Mosquito A's played 5 games during the June 26 - 28 weekend where temperatures averaged 35 degrees C. After a 2-1 record in the preliminaries, they earned their way to the finals by beating the heavily favoured Humber Park Hawks in a thrilling come-from-behind 7-5 semifinal win before cruising to a 13-6 victory in the gold medal game
