Regular Season Champions
The Homestead Spartans go undefeated in the Fort Wayne Area High School Hockey League and finish the regular season with a 19 - 0 -1 record in the league. The Spartans overall record for the season stands at 33-5-3.
Komet Cup City Tournament
The Spartans will take on the Carroll Chargers in the Komet Cup City Tournament Championship Game on Wednesday, March 17th at 7:00 PM at CanLan
Come out and support the 2009 - 2010 Fort Wayne Area High School Hockey League regular season champion Spartans in their quest for the Komet Cup!
Academic All-State
Congratulations to all five of our Seniors Jarred Gidley, Justin Glick, Kevin Kelley, Ryan Sweazey and Andrew Weiss on being named to the Academic All-State Team. Congratulations to the entire Homestead team for placing third in the team Academic All-State rankings. Keep up the hard work in school as it will pay off for you in the future.
End of Season Awards Program
The end of season awards program will be Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 7:00 PM in the Aboite Township Community Room which is adjacent to the Aboite Fire Station on Aboite Center Road just west of the Homestead Freshman Academy. More details will be provided at a later date.

General Information about Homestead Spartan Hockey
Homestead plays in the Fort Wayne Area High School Hockey League. League games are played at CanLan Ice Sports Fort Wayne, a new $14 million three sheet ice rink at the corners of Fernhill Avenue, Wells Street and Lima Road. For more information check out the CanLan IceSports Fort Wayne website.
