The "Official" Wiseburn Little League: Volunteer Info

One of our primary goals as a little league is to keep all of our children safe.  For this reason, all volunteers are required to fill out a Volunteer Application in order to run a background check.

 All adult volunteers that will be interacting with children must go through a background check.   This includes Managers, Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Umpires, Team Representatives, and Snack Stand Workers. 

Managers, coaches and umpires are recommended by the league president and approved by the board. Once the board approves your position you may start in its capacity while a back ground check is conducted. Only if the back ground check comes back with a positive hit will you will be asked by the league president to come in for a private interview. Depending on the incident the league president can approve or disapprove continuation of your league position.
