Tom Hicks Summer Baseball Camps
Tom Hicks provides free coaches' clinics at the beginning of every season. He shares his teaching skills at no cost with one condition: Hand out his Summer Baseball Camp flyers ONLY if you believe them to be beneficial for the kids. His drills and explainations teach and enforce baseball fundamentals in a fun and challenging way. Please consider Tom Hicks' Baseball Camps this Summer. You will NOT be disappointed.

Trinity Bat Company Bat Tour

We had a great time today at the Trinity Bat Company. Thanks to Jeff McKee for showing the kids how to make a bat from a block of wood!
Some of the bats kids were able to see were James Loney, Troy Tulowitzki, Tony Gwynn Jr, Dee Gordon to name a few.
Kids were able to learn of the differences between Birch, Ash & Maple woods and the preferences of the professional athletes who purchase and use them.
We may plan another one in the near future for those who could not make this one. Stay tuned...

"Wiseburn" Sign-Ups
It was brought to our attention that there is another little league using the "Wiseburn" name at their registrations. We have reached out to this league but have not received any response as of yet. The easiest way to determine if they are offical Wiseburn Little League or not is to ask "I want to sign-up my son". They will not accept boys. There are a lot of differences between the 2 leagues. If you want more info on these differences, don't hesitate to email info@wiseburnlittleleague.org
Make sure you are signing up for the one you really want.

Trinity Bat Company Bat Tour
Good news-- the Trinity Bat tour is now set for Nov 22 at 1:30pm. 30 Kids plus parents are welcome to attend. Here is the site with the (brief) details:

Parents, if you want to buy a youth bat for your child and want it ready on the tour date, you need to get the order in no later than 2 weeks prior to the tour date. They do custom ash, birch, and maple bats with personalized colors, and laser engraving. They can even do the Wiseburn logo!

Scott Henderson passed away July 14, 2011. He was a Manager/Coach for AAA Rangers this past year. Elected this year into the board in charge of field upkeep/preparation/maintenance. Father of 3 children, husband, and good friend.
