The season is going great, and all of the new draftees are making a huge contribution to our Village Rentals team. Lloyd, Mark and I are very impressed with how the kids are improving and glad to see the major progress of each player. We are anxious to see the improvements throughout the year, as well from all our returners from last season. Keep up the good work!
Mark, Lloyd and I's philosophies are under handouts and check out the link that says, 2009 Coaches. Please go to Team News for further information!
Now that the season is in full swing, check out the complete standings in the city for 11-12 Major Boys, which can be found under links on the main HNLL website.

*To instill a life long love and understanding of the game of baseball while having fun.
*To encourage increased skills through competition at progressive levels of play.

*To teach the six pillars of character to each child trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and good citizenship.
*To build superior citizens.
Home Team Honors!
These are a few things that we, as coaches, are responsible for.
1) Home Team needs to have a scorekeeper and pitch counter. I do not like asking the same individual to keep every game. If that is the case, I will do it myself.
3) Home Team will run the concession stand. Contact Brandie Strong for further details. I do not want the same parents doing every home game. this allows parents to at least enjoy their child's game.
4) Home Team cleans up the field by raking up the scoria back onto the field, dragging the infield, as well as packing the pitchers mound and homeplate. If there are two Heights Teams that play, both clean up the field. Nobody leaves until the field has been raked!!!
