4th Annual
PLAYING FOR THE PINK
Breast Cancer Awareness Tournament
The Hamilton Girls Softball Association proudly announces the 4th Annual “PLAYING FOR THE PINK” Breast Cancer Awareness Tournament. In its inaugural year (2006), the tournament raised $8795 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Princeton YMCA Breast Cancer Resource Center, and in 2007 we exceed our tournament goal by donating $24,200 to the charities. Not to be outdone, the 64 participating 2008 tournament teams raised and donated $40,000 to the breast cancer charities. The 2008 tournament also surpassed Team USA's Pink Game donation to Komen of $25,000.
The 2009 tournament fundraising goal is to exceed $40,000 and we ask that you, your team and your team’s families join in helping to reach that goal.

Two local HGSA supporters are hosting fundraising events to support HGSA's Playing for the Pink Breast Cancer Tournament on September 29 & 30.
First the Sweet...
Thomas Sweet Ice Cream Shop @ Carella's Hallmark on Nottingham Way is giving 20% of all ice cream sales made during the tournament to HGSA's Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser . The hours are 9:30am - 8:30pm on Saturday (9/29) and 11:00am - 4:00pm on Sunday (9/30). Whether you place an ice cream cake order or get a milkshake, cone or other ice cream item, Carella's donates 20% to finding the cure. Invite all your friends too! No flyer is needed.
Now the Playful...
Dawn Bradley, a Hamilton Square Discovery Toys consultant is giving a percentage (based on sales) of all Discovery Toys orders placed on Saturday 29 & 30 on her website, by phone, or at her table at the HGSA complex during the tournament.
