Lancers Defeat Hudson Catholic to Win State Championship!
Holy Cross battled both the elements and a talented Hudson Catholic team, but at the end the Lancers just wanted it more and defeated the Hawks 7-0. The frigid temperatures and an intense wind at Rutgers Stadium could not prevent the Lancers from capturing their second straight Non-Public Group 2 Championship. The only scoring of the game came in the fourth quarter when the Lancers connected on a 39 yard touchdown pass with just over seven minutes remaining, which was the only completion for Holy Cross the entire game. The Lancers defense came up big both in the 2nd and 3rd quarters keeping the Hawks out of the end zone when they had several opportunties to score from inside the five yard-line. The victory was a total team effort as the Lancers completed another successful season capped off by another state championship. To all the coaches, and players congratulations on a wonderful season!

Lancers Dominate Eustace and Advance to Group 2 State Championship!
Holy Cross provided an opening quarter gift to Bishop Eustace, which gave the visiting team a 7-0 lead, and that would be the last time the Crusaders would be able to put points on the board, as the Lancers defeated the Crusaders by a score of 25-7 in semi-final round action of the NJSIAA playoffs. The Lancers dominated on the ground, scoring four rushing touchdowns in the first three quarters. The Holy Cross running backs combined for a total of 205 yards on the ground. The defense also played a spectacular game in keeping the Eustace offense off balance, and really not allowing them to sustain any consistent drives. The Lancers next game is away against rival Moorestown on Friday, November 28 starting at 6:00PM. The Lancers will now play 2nd seed Hudson Catholic, who defeated the 3rd seed St. Joseph's Hammonton by a score of 3-0, in the Non-Public Group 2 State Championship.
