HAZLETON AREA HIGH SCHOOL WINS ANOTHER STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
For the third year in a row members of the Hazleton Area High School Trap Team have won the "State Varsity Division Title". The State shoot was held at Elysburg on June 11th, 2007. The team awed fans in the 200 target race with a come from behind spectacular finish only missing two targets in their final round.
With the win, the Hazleton Area team will be representing the state of Pennsylvania in a national competition in Sarta Ill. August 4- 9.
The team is coached by Marty Festa, Bill Duffy, Joe Gans, Chris Bayzick and Jeff Moran.

The State shoot was held at Elysburg where the team won both divisions.
