WELCOME to the home of the Gwynns Falls Football & Cheerleading Academy. Whereour motto is "Put in the Work and YOU will get the Reward". Our goal is to lead by example -- mentoring the community's youth and providing them with a quality football and cheerleading program. Our Mission is to develop positive, morally sound minds and bodies that are equipped to become tomorrow’s leaders. We service and provide resources for allyouth in Baltimore City with a focus on “positive youth development”. Positive Youth Development entails the provision of services and opportunities to support all young people in developing a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and empowerment. When young people are nurtured by caring adults, are given opportunities to become involved in education or work that builds their skills, are supported and protected during challenging times, and are actively engaged in community activities, they become valuable contributors to the quality of community life. The upcoming 2007 Football season will feature the following teams: 5-7 FLAG * 7-9 MITEY MITE * 8-10 JUNIOR PEEWEE 9-11 PEEWEE * 10-12 JUNIOR MIDGET * 11-14 MIDGET
The Gywnns Falls 49ers would like to thank our players and our parents for their participation this season. It was a fun-filled yet challenging year for the Gywnns Falls 49ers but your support, love and patience made it possible for us to have a successful year.
