2009 USSSA 8U WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!!!!

Congratulations Dawgs on winning the MGC Labor Day Classic in St. Martin this past weekend. The boys played some great ball Saturday against the 10 year old teams, beating the 10 year old "Gulf Coast Reds" team. They then competed Sunday in the 9 year old division, winning the Championship trophy.

For anyone who was worried about the transition from Coach Pitch to Kid Pitch, have no fear. Our boys have played in three 9 year old Kid Pitch tournaments so far, and have taken home the 1st place trophy each time. Looks like the Firedawgs are going to be just fine in the world of Kid Pitch baseball.

We will try to post in advance any upcoming tournaments that the Firedawgs will be playing in. We hope that this will encourage teams to sign up for these tournaments, because we look forward to playing the best teams out there.
To be the best, you have to play the best, and that is what we look forward to doing.
