GRYSA 2013-2014 Challenge SeasonTry-Outs
GRYSA will hold try-outs for the Fall 2013 Challenge season on the following dates:

Location: Hartley Drive Family YMCA 150 West Hartley Drive, High Point, NC
Boys and Girls ages 9 up to 12 years old (U10 up to U13)
Session # 2
Archdale/Trinity Teams: Tuesday May 21, 2013 6:00 PM
Location: GRYSA Soccer Complex 7194 Turnpike Road, Trinity, NC
Boys ages 9 up to 14 years old ( U10 up to U14 )
Girls ages 9 up to 18 years old (U10 up to U19)
***Players should bring a soccer ball, water bottle and wear shorts, a t-shirt, socks, shin guards and soccer cleats (or running shoes if you don't have cleats yet). Try-outs will last approximately 1 1/2 hours. Parents will fill out a try-out application form at the site. GRYSA does not charge a try-out fee. Players will be contacted within 72 hours by the coach with a result of their tryout.

GRYSA operates from two locations. North High Point area teams practice and play out of the Hartley Drive Family YMCA fields in High Point while Archdale/Trinity area teams practice and play out of the Carl & Linda Grubb Family YMCA fields in Trinity.
Ages are determined by the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association by the player’s age on August 1, 2012. Example: U10 division means a player cannot be 10 years old on or before 8/1/2012. If he/she is 10 years old on 7/31 the child is a U11 division player.
GRYSA 2013/2014 Challenge Fees.
If you son/daughter is selected to play on a GRYSA Challenge team the fees for 2012/2013 are:
U10 - U14 BOYS & GIRLS (fall and spring) Registration is $210.00
U15 - U19 GIRLS (fall season only players) Registration is $ 150.00
Registration fees include registration with GRYSA, NCYSA, YMCA Field fees and a supplemental insurance policy through NCYSA.
Registration fees do not include a uniform (usually $40.00 - $80.00) style and cost to be decided by each individual team.
Registration fees do not include team fees (usually around $ 100.00) to pay for referees and any tournaments the team elects to participate in). Each individual team will determine the actual team fee.
Registration fees must be paid to your team manager no later than Friday June 28, 2013.

GUIL-RAND YOUTH RECREATION SOCCER LEAGUE
Recreation Leaue Soccer is offered through a partnership with the Carl & Linda Grubb Family YMCA and the Hartley Drive Family YMCA. Recreation soccer is available to ages 4 through 13.

PARKING : The GRYSA complex has a one-way drive that circles our 3 fields. It has long been our goal to eliminate two way traffic in order to provide a safer environment for our players and families. We have ample parking available in our 3 large parking lots. Please do not park along the one-way drive or in other non-approved areas. If you do, your car may not be where you left it when you want to leave our wonderful facility.
PETS : NO PETS are allowed at the Guil-Rand Soccer Complex. Please be kind to your pets and leave them at home instead of locked inside a hot car.
PHOTOGRAPHY : The Guil-Rand Sports Complex is a private club and is not open to public photography. Parents with cameras are always welcome, however professional photographers and sports action vendors are not permitted without written permission from the GRYSA Board of Directors.
