Green Valley Little League: Spring Little League Baseball Divisions
Tee Ball DivisionThis is for beginning players 6 years old and younger. Score is not kept and it is the first step to learning the game of baseball.
Rookie Division
This is the next step to learning the game of baseball. At this age the coach will start to pitch to the players and scores are kept. There is no All Star selections for this age group.
Minors Division
This is the 3rd step to learning the game of baseball. At this age players get to experiance pitching the ball and learning more fundementals of the game. This group of kids ages range from 8 years old to 11 years old. Even though the score is kept it is not considered a competitive age bracket.
Major Division
This is the what all the training leads too. Major baseball selects top players from the league 12/u to compete in open competition. It has a regular season and a posti divisional season named TOC. Top players from this division compete in a spot for placement on a 12/u All Star team that can reach as high as the Little League Baseball World Series.
Juniors Division
This division is post majors. With the promotion to Juniors players will play on a bigger field and prepare them for High school baseball.
