CONGRATULATIONS AMANDA SAULSBURY
Amanda Saulsbury (Pitcher 2012), has officially committed to play Division II Softball at Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. Lock Haven participates in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). Amanda is a Senior at Caravel Academy located in Bear, Delaware where she has played Varsity Softball for four years. The hard throwing, hard hitting Saulsbury will bring extra punch to the Lock Haven lineup and plans to study physical therapy. We wish Amanda continued success as she completes her final season with the Hornets and moves on to the next level as a Lady Eagle!
CONGRATULATIONS MEGAN MALONEY
Megan Maloney (Outfield 2012) officially committed to play softball for Slippery Rock University competing in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). Megan is currently a Senior at Reservoir High School located in Howard County, Maryland where she earned team MVP honors. The speedy lefty and slapper is a 1st Team All County outfielder and in 2011 lead Howard County in batting. She is also forward on her High School field hockey team and has been honored as a Minds in Motion Scholar Athlete 4 years running. Megan plans to study Physical Education and Health while also pursuing her interest as a photographer for which she was honored in 2010 with an Emerging Photographer Award and in 2011 with Aperture Award for Photography. We wish Megan the best in her final season of High School and continued success as she joins The Rock.
CONGRATULATIONS CLARE HOFSTEDT
Clare Hofstedt, (Outfield/Pitcher 2012), who has been a Severna Park Green Hornet since she started playing softball at age 6, has officially committed to play softball for Washington College, Chestertown, MD. The switch-hitting slapper, recruited to play outfield, has also been the starting pitcher for Severna Park High School since her freshman year, earning All County, Coaches and Capital Gazette All County 2nd Team honors in all three years.
Academically, Clare is a member of the National Honor Society and plans to begin studies to one day become a pediatrician. We wish Clare, a lifetime Green Hornet, continued success in her last season of High School and beyond.
CONGRATULATIONS PAIGE BRIGANTI
Paige Briganti (Outfield 2012) has officially committed to play softball at Washington College located in Chestertown, Maryland competing in the Centennial Conference. Paige is currently a senior at Severna Park High School in Anne Arundel County. Paige has been named a First Team All-County player in 2010 and 2011 and Second Team All Metro in 2011 and is a member of the National Honor Society.
We wish Paige all the best in her final season of high school softball. Go Shorewomen! |
