The attached handout is a list of the approved non-wood bats for the 2011 season. All parents should be aware that these are the only non-wood bats that can be used in SANCTIONED Little League games until further notice. Sanctioned meaning under the umbrella of our Little League Insurance (Little League Practices, Games or Williamsport Tournament). Travel teams should be carrying their own insurance and therefore are not under the Little League insurance umbrella. If you know of any composite bat(s) which may be not on the list or you would like a bat researched, please contact Kelly Catoggio ASAP.

Please remember there is NO PARKING on Park Avenue (the street in front of IEF). It is expected that the Green Brook Police will begin increased monitoring of the parking situation, and will either write warnings or issue summonses to violators. Please find an alternate parking location and avoid a summons!

***Minor League Standings ***
According to GBLL rules, "if teams do not play an equal number of games, standings will be determined by winning percentage. For tie games, each team will receive ½ win and ½ loss. For final standings, tie breakers will be decided by head-to-head play, then runs against (head-to-head), then runs against (entire season), then finally coin toss."
All Minor League teams did not play the same number of games. The correct Minor League standings can be found by clicking "standings" on the sidebar to the left. (These standings calculate winning percentage by counting a tie as 1/2 win).
While we will attempt to update the website as soon as possible, the GBLL phone number (732-752-2948) will have the most up-to-date report on game and event cancellations due to weather conditions. Unless the GBLL phone line or website advise otherwise, all games and events should be considered on.
We have an expanding collection of sporting goods available at the Shack. If you misplaced your equipment at a game or practice, please contact GBLL via the above email address during the off season.
GBLL requires that all prospective managers and coaches possess a Rutgers SAFETY Clinic card. If you are interested in learning more about the Rutgers SAFETY Clinic and/or finding where you can attend an upcoming clinic, please visit http://www.youthsports.rutgers.edu/
For general inquiries, questions or any additional information, please feel free to contact Green Brook Little League at info@gbll.org. You can also access this web site from www.gbll.org.
