SENIORS ARE PENNSYLVANIA STATE CHAMPIONS

Welcome to the Home of

Great Valley Little League

The 2014 Senior Division Pennsylvania State Champions

Congratulations to the GVLL Senior All-Stars who finished third in the Eastern Regional Tournament!  This is a significant accomplishment and was the farthest any GVLL team has gone on the road to a World Series Championship. To put this team's run into perspective, there are 52 State champions (TX and CA have 2 each) that advance to Regional Tournaments. Each of the 5 Regional Tournament winners get a birth in the Senior League World Series along with the host team and the 4 International Regional winners. This puts our Senior's third place finish in the top 15 teams in the United States for this age bracket.  The U.S. has aproximately 6,000 Little League organizations with 2.2 million players across all division.

Congratulations to all the players, coaches and families for the incredible accomplishment.

GVLL Takes 2 Section 8 Title to Advance to the State Championship!!!

The Seniors International All-Star Team successfully defended their Section 8 title today by defeating Lower Gwynedd 1-0.  The repeat victory was capped by a 7 inning complete game by Donald Edwards and a 7th inning homerun by Allan Berry.  The Seniors move on to the State Championship for the second year in a row.

Not be be outdone, the Juniors International All-Start team also won the Section 8 championship 8-3 to advance to the State Championship.

Having two of our teams advance to the 8 best teams in the state for their age groups in the same year exemplifies the success of the GVLL program.  Congratulations to all the players coaches and parents and good luck in the next round.
